Outriders is one of the latest games to hit PC and other platforms, and it’s already off to a great start. As another loot shooter, players can expect familiar gameplay mechanics for titles like Destiny 2, Borderlands 3, and The Division to name a few. But the game also has some very unique features that help it stand out.
There are four different classes to choose from, including Pyromancer which is a medium ranged attack class, much like a mage, meant for dps. There’s also the Technomancer who is part of the ranged class, who specializes in using artillery and other guns and weapons to assuage pain. The Technomancer is also a support class, which means you can heal and protect your allies.
Then there’s the Devastator, a class of short-range tanks designed to take most damage because they have the most durability. Finally, there is the best class of all, the Trickster. This is a close-range melee class that uses space-time to essentially take out enemies from the game and reality itself.
Outriders has a really cool and engaging story with some really awesome fights, plenty of weapons and other gear to empower your character, and so much more. If you like pillager shooters, this one is excellent.
