The full version of Runescape is available on Android and iOS this week

Runescape for mobile devices is finally here, as Jagex announced this morning the release of the full version of Runescape is now available for Android and iOS devices. Runescape is available on Android for a while, but the version players have been able to download is the beta.

Officially, the release of Runescape for Android and iOS was yesterday, June 17th. Jagex also announced earlier this year that Runescape would exit the beta on mobile and enter a full release period. The arrival of the match was therefore not much of a surprise to the fans. That said, Jagex never announced when the game was specifically going to launch.

The release of Runescape on Android comes with great rewards

The rewards are always a nice little bonus every time a game comes out. And Jagex has put together a nice little care pack for mobile gamers. The rewards are for those who have pre-registered. So if you didn’t pre-register before the game officially released, there’s a good chance you won’t receive the freebies.

For players who have pre-registered, the freebies include a number of different things. Jagex explains that he has achieved all of his pre-registration goals. Which led to unlocking every level reward for players.

This includes five exclusive cosmetic products. There is a headdress for players, as well as a sword, pet, teleportation device, and piece of armor called Crux Eqal. This last reward will be the biggest benefit for new players. Because it gives you a 50% XP boost for a whole week. And if you plan on playing this game a lot, it should help you evolve your characters pretty quickly.

As a reminder, the game will support cross-play with the PC version of the game. So even if your friends are playing on PC, you can still play together. Cross play also works with the iOS version.

In addition to all this, the game supports cross progression. Which means you can start playing on one platform and transfer your progress to another if you ever decide to switch. Start on mobile and make the decision to play on PC? No problem. Transfer your progress and continue with all your stuff.
