Patriots owner Robert Kraft gifted Bentley for his 80th birthday by Jay-Z, Meek Mill
Patriots owner Robert Kraft got quite a surprise on his birthday: the 80-year-old received a custom-made blue Bentley with a sunroof.
If you’re wondering why Kraft, which has a listed net worth of $ 6.9 billion, couldn’t have just bought the Bentley itself, look no further than the video posted Monday by rapper Meek. Mill. Kraft can be heard saying, “How did you get the fudge? Because we couldn’t get it.”
Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, who escorted Kraft to his new car, replied, “We have resources,” before listing Mill, Jay-Z and others who accepted the gift:
The next question you might ask yourself is, what’s the connection between Kraft, Jay-Z, and Mill? They and Rubin teamed up in January 2019 to form the criminal reform organization REFORM Alliance. The organization formed after Rubin arranged for Kraft’s visit to Mill in the spring of 2018 for a highly controversial parole violation.
“After I met him in prison, I felt affection for him,” Kraft said. “We had developed a great relationship. And I’ve never been to jail before. Going over there and seeing him, I didn’t sleep the rest of the night when I got home. Because here I think about how out of touch something like me is from what’s really going on.
