MSI Launches Pair Of True Wireless Headphones For Gaming

True wireless headphones designed specifically for gaming aren’t entirely new, but they’re even less common, and now MSI is entering the space.

MSI recently revealed at its Computex 2021 event, it would release a pair of true wireless earbuds designed for gaming. And although they work for all types of media, they will definitely be marketed to gamers. And there is no doubt that MSI has planned a few features that will meet the needs of consumers in this segment.

Just like EPOS did with its GTW 270 hybrid, Headphones from MSI (officially called Immerse GH62) will deliver low latency audio response. They should therefore provide a very good sound experience for games.

MSI has not revealed the price or availability of its true wireless gaming headphones

Unfortunately for avid shoppers, MSI hasn’t revealed the most important details. What are the availability and price of these new headphones.

While we can’t comment on availability, the price is something that shouldn’t be hard to guess. If MSI wants to price these products competitively, the sweet spot is in the range of $ 150 to $ 200. The two best pairs of true wireless earbuds for gamers we’ve tried are in the $ 200 mark.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro and the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid. Assuming MSI bakes in similar specifications, the retail cost somewhere around the price of these products is likely. But not necessarily guaranteed.

It’s also worth mentioning that these may not even arrive in the United States. Although many gaming laptops and other gaming products from MSI do. There is therefore no reason to believe that this will not be the case as well.

Headphones ‘coming soon’

MSI hasn’t given any exact information on the launch date, but that doesn’t mean the Immerse GH62 is far away. The company says the headphones will arrive soon. Which may mean that an outing could take place by the end of the summer.

The headphones will be available in at least one color and will feature the MSI Tiamat dragon logo on both headphones. Of course, they also come with a wireless charging case. Although there is no mention of battery life.

MSI was also light on features, but he says the headphones will provide precise audio reproduction and clear voice recording. So it could be useful for content creation and voice calls.
