Liga MX 2021 Apertura: Results, General Table of Mexican Football Positions

The 18 Liga MX teams will have the illusion of being among the 12 best positions in the general table of Apertura 2021 and thus qualify for the Mexican football league next November.

A total of 17 days will be played during which the clubs will compete against each other, obtaining three points for each victory, one for a draw and zero points for loss. The results of the last day are below:

Liga MX 2021 Apertura – Overall Draw

The teams are ranked in the general table according to the points added during the 17 dates of the season. In the event of a tie in points, the following tie-breakers will be applied in this order:

1. Better difference between goals scored and received
2. Higher number of goals scored
3. Higher number of goals scored as a visitor
4. Particular scores between the tied clubs
5. Better situated in the general quotient table
6. Tabla Fair-Play
7. Draw

The top 12 teams at the end of the season advance to the league, which begins with a knockout round between clubs ranked No.5 through No.12. The four teams that survive the playoffs in a match join the top four in the overall draw to play in the league’s quarter-finals.
