Microsoft Your phone app is perhaps one of the most useful for people who use Android Phones and Windows PCs. The app allows users to seamlessly access notifications, reply to text messages, and make and receive calls on their PC.

Now you can push the functionality even further provided you have a Samsung device. You can now drag and drop files from your Samsung phone to your Windows 10 PC, without having to plug in any wires.

The new drag-and-drop file functionality requires a Samsung device running Link To Windows version 1.5 or higher. Lucky for you, that includes pretty much every Samsung device as old as the Galaxy S9.

What files can you transfer?

The new drag and drop feature supports all kinds of file types outside of folders. However, you can only transfer 100 files at a time, and no file can exceed 512MB in size.

You can currently drag files from the Gallery app on your Samsung phone or from the My Files app only. From your PC, you can drag and drop any file you want to the Samsung device.
