EPOS Now Manufactures Studio Grade Streaming Microphone For Gamers
EPOS makes pretty premium audio products for gaming, and now it’s venturing into streaming with the B20 streaming microphone. Like all of its other products, the EPOS B20 Streaming Microphone is aimed at gamers. However, it will work great for anyone who streams any kind of content.
Hailed as a “studio-grade” microphone, EPOS claims it will deliver vocal clarity without sacrificing other important elements. Like the warmth of the bass and the deep treble. The end result is meant to be rich vocal sound that passes through. And best of all, it’s cross-platform compatible.
This bodes well for a large majority of streamers. Considering the popularity of the business and the number of platforms that people are doing it from.
EPOS B20 streaming microphone works with PC, PS4 and Mac
EPOS says this mic will work with PC, PS4, and Mac. Although he does not mention PS5, there is no reason why it should not work with the latest console from Sony.
The microphone is a bit expensive on the other hand. So this is something to keep in mind if you are looking for this particular material. It will cost $ 199 in the US, which roughly equates to some of the other high-end audio products EPOS offers.
However, if your budget doesn’t include a microphone at these prices, you can certainly find a good one for less. That being said, if you can afford it, you are probably going to get something better than most of its direct competition.
It has a customizable configuration that adapts to you
Whether you’re gaming and streaming your playtime solo or with friends, with or without a pole, the B20 seems ready to take on whatever you throw at it.
EPOS designed this mic with a high quality and lightweight aluminum shell. Which gives it a clean look. It’s also versatile, coming with a desk stand in the box if you don’t have or prefer not to use a boom arm for installation.
It also supports four different pickup patterns for your voice. Including cardioid, omnidirectional, stereo and bidirectional. It even has integrated voice monitoring. All you need to do is plug headphones into the 3.5mm audio jack so you can hear yourself as you speak. And make sure your sound is perfect for your viewers.
There are a few other cool features as well, such as LED indicators and built-in audio controls. The EPOS B20 Streaming Microphone is available for purchase today from retailers like Amazon and on the EPOS website. Although Amazon says it won’t be in stock until June 7.
