Avengers Campus is now open at Disneyland Resort – take a look inside
Avengers Campus Park lands in Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California.

The new area, located in Disneyland’s California Adventure theme park, has replaced A Bug’s Land and includes the pre-existing Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: Breakout ride at the edge of Hollywood Land.
The Avengers campus, which opened on Friday, features a new Spider-Man attraction, a restaurant called Pym Test Kitchen, and a portal to Doctor Strange’s sanctuary.
At its center is the Avengers Compound, the home of Marvel’s Mightiest Heroes. On the rooftop launch pad is a scale quinjet that lights and runs its engines for guests.
This new area of California Adventure was originally scheduled to open in July 2020, but theme parks in California have been closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the launch has been postponed. In April, the two Disney parks were able to reopen.

In addition to the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout ride, the Avengers Campus also offers a Spider-Man ride called Web Slingers.
The attraction takes place at the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka the headquarters of WEB, a company that helps empower ordinary people. The attraction gives guests the chance to test drive a new vehicle that its young scientists have designed. While driving the vehicle, small spider robots are released and the riders must catch them with their new strap powers.
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, is a new ride at Disneyland that gives superhero rookies the same web-throwing abilities as Peter Parker.
Throughout the day, visitors can spot their “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” hanging out in the WEB building.
Disney Imagineers have designed a robot that can swing and turn in the air while performing stunts. Dressing up in a Spider-Man costume, this character can be seen performing stunts 60 feet in the air above the roof of the WEB building. After these exploits, a Spider-Man actor will descend from the building to meet the guests.
Guests of Avengers Campus can meet Spider-Man outside of WEB headquarters.

The main dining room on the Avengers campus is called Pym’s Test Kitchen. Here, scientists working with Ant-Man and the Wasp use their growing and shrinking technology to create innovative foods.
Customers can enjoy chicken sandwiches with huge chicken patties, spaghetti and meatballs with a large meatball and soft pretzels the size of a head.
At Pym Test Kitchen on the Avengers Campus inside Disney California Adventure Park, Ant-Man and The Wasp use shrink and grow technology for innovative foods.
Next door is Pym’s Tasting Lab, a place where adults can enjoy craft beers and signature cocktails. Mixologists play with flavors, offering a variety of ingredients from habanero and mango to lemon and vanilla.
Pym Tasting Lab, adjacent to the Pym Test Kitchen on the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, offers alcoholic beverages for adults including: X-Periment, Molecular Meltdown, Honey Buzz, and Particle Fizz.

There are two food carts. The first is Shawarma Palace, a nod to the iconic scene from the credits of “The Avengers”.
The other is called Terrien Treats. This booth is located near the Guardians of the Galaxy merry-go-round and features items that play on traditional human foods. Circular rainbow churros and bright purple cream puffs are just a few of the delicacies available.

The character encounters are another big part of the Avengers campus. Thor, Black Panther, Black Widow and many more will roam the country – visitors will also get to spot the trickster Loki.
Guests can meet the master of the mystical arts himself as they venture into the depths of the Avengers campus. Every now and then, Doctor Strange walks through an interdimensional portal to engage guests with illusions, witchcraft, and tales to amaze from his collection of mysterious relics.
Different Marvel characters will be installed in different areas of the campus. For example, Doctor Strange can be found near the Sanctuary while Spider-Man can be spotted by the WEB building. Other characters like Black Widow, Black Panther, and Captain America will be stationed near the main Avengers building and Ant-Man and the Wasp will appear near Pym’s Test Kitchen.
The Black Panther’s personal bodyguards and royal security Dora Milaje will also be present on campus, along with the mighty Thor. As more characters are introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they will likely be brought into the fold.
