Amazon Shopping is a bit of a boring choice, but it’s still very useful as a Mother’s Day app. You can find all kinds of gift ideas there. You already know Amazon and why it is here.

Etsy

Etsy is one of the best apps for Mother’s Day. It’s a great place to find crafts, gifts, and other unique items. Just because you can’t give a gift yourself doesn’t mean it can’t be unique, right? The app allows you to browse the entire site, speak directly to merchants, find recommendations, and view shipping information after making a purchase. It is a good choice for finding unique items.

Eventbrite

Price: Free / Varies

Eventbrite is one of the best Mother’s Day apps for going out on the town. It contains a list of events that occur in your area. Plus, you can even buy tickets for these events through the app. Events include concerts, festivals, classes, performances and more. It’s worth seeing what’s happening on Mother’s Day weekend in your area. There might be something your mom wants to check out. If you like the idea, but this app doesn’t do it for you, other apps include Nearify, Eventful, and OMGWhen. Facebook’s Events feature also works well for this. They offer similar services.

Google Photos

Price: Free / Varies

Google Photos is a photo backup application. However, it can do more than that. You can edit photos after they have been backed up. At least you can a little. Most importantly, you can add them to albums. Once the albums are created, you can make them public and share them with your friends and family. You can probably see where I’m going with this. All the photos you take with your mother on Mother’s Day can be saved here permanently. You can then create albums to share with her, Facebook, or elsewhere. It’s a great way to preserve memories. Additionally, Google Photos has an oft-missed feature where you can order an album from the photos you upload. It’s a bit pricey, but they work great as freebies.

Uber eats

Uber Eats is one of several services that deliver restaurant food right to your door. Other notable options include DoorDash, GrubHub, and Eat24. Basically you use the app to order food in a restaurant and a driver brings it to you. This year (2020) is a bit unique with the pandemic, so going out to eat might not be the best option. However, you can still be given the same food. Uber Eats is the most popular and famous of the bunch, but which one is best for you may be different. All apps are free, but shipping costs money. Retail store apps

Price: Free / Varies

Retail stores always have big sales for Mother’s Day. You can find things like gift cards, clothing, jewelry, electronics, and other similar items for sale. We can’t recommend a particular store because we don’t know what your mom likes. There’s Best Buy if she likes electronics, Kohl if she likes clothes and kitchenware, Target if you need something pretty generalized, and plenty of other options. We’ve linked Kohl to the button below, but you can easily find other retail apps in the Play Store.
