This can include team size, company size, the app’s ability to scale with demand, and tons of other things. Some apps are great for large teams while others are better for individual professionals. Some companies are always looking for better solutions while others choose to create their own solutions. Native solutions make lists like this difficult because typically a company already has software suites for employees.
However, there are some great overall options and we think we’ve found them. Here are the best professional apps for Android! These apps work best for small and medium businesses. Big businesses probably need more personalized business solutions, and that’s an entirely different conversation.

Asana is one of those business apps that everyone should try. It is a task manager that allows you to assign tasks to all your employees. You can add as many subsections as needed, directly assign tasks and add comments and attachments. You can use it free with basic features for up to 15 people or pay $ 9.99 per month per person for the full plan. It adapts well and should work for most small to medium teams. It also works for large teams, but it could get quite expensive this way.

CamScanner is a very useful tool. It basically turns your camera into a scanner. It allows you to scan documents, business cards, receipts, etc. From there, you can edit PDF files created by the app as needed. In addition, it allows you to quickly share these elements with your colleagues, your human resources department or elsewhere. There’s even a fax option for a small fee. It’s not great for teams. However, this is one of the great individual business apps. This is especially useful for those who frequently deal with expenses, documents and the like.

Google offers a superb suite of office applications under the G Suite banner. You get support for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, images, notes and more. There’s even a team messaging service that supports texting, calling, and video calling. They are all equally cross-platform. This means that they work on both your mobile and your computer. For this reason, it’s a great one-stop-shop for all of those basic office items. Google Drive itself is a cloud storage app that gives you 15GB for free or you can pay more. All of this also integrates into Gmail and Google Calendar. Google offers a G Suite option specifically for businesses. It is definitely one of the best mobile apps for business use.

Google My Business
Google My Business makes businesses visible in Google search and on Google Maps. These are huge potential sources for businesses. In 2017, they cannot be ignored. The app allows you to update information about your business, such as your hours of operation, name and address. You can even manage multiple locations if needed. This makes it one of the important business apps for small businesses, new businesses, and basically any business without a web presence yet.
Microsoft 365 Enterprise

Microsoft offers a suite of applications similar to G Suite. You have branded products like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint both on mobile and on the web. There is also a chat service with text, video and voice communication. A Business 365 subscription also gives you cloud storage on Microsoft OneDrive as well as additional tools. We also particularly liked Office Lens. It is a scanning application specifically for business use. Microsoft offers pricing options for businesses and businesses that are separate from regular consumer products. Drive and Microsoft Office both have their pros and cons. Which one is best depends mainly on your needs. You can’t go wrong anyway.

PayPal is one of the best business apps, especially for small and medium businesses. Many businesses use PayPal to manage transactions and invoices. Sometimes it is also used to pay employees. You can create a business account that makes sending and receiving money easier. The mobile version comes with fingerprint support, the ability to verify your PayPal (and PayPal credit balance), and more. PayPal Business is PayPal’s application specifically for business use. We recommend both.

Slack is perhaps the best app of its kind. It is a chat application specifically for professional use. It offers a clean and simple interface, multiple channels, conference calls, document sharing and even a chat bot. This makes it good for small, medium or even large businesses. It’s also a great option if you just want a chat service without subscribing to much more like you do with G Suite and Microsoft 365 Business.

Square Register is one of the best business apps for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and mobile businesses. It is essentially a simple point of sale system. It also requires a magnetic stripe reader. Square provides a basic one for free. However, better options can cost a few dollars. Customers swipe their cards and pay you money for your goods or services. There is no upfront payment, although Square takes a 2.75% discount on each purchase. The app also allows you to track inventory, send receipts, apply discounts, issue refunds, and view real-time sales data. It is able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards. Newer models also accept card chips and NFC payments from Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. These cost $ 49 at the time of writing.
Zoom Cloud Meetings

The service also offers screen sharing services, presentation features, and above-average connection stability. It is evolving well and the app is fantastic. Google Hangouts Meet is a decent option for small teams. GoToMeeting is another great selection with over 100 concurrent participants. Basically any authenticator app
Two-step verification is an absolute must these days. This prevents hackers from getting your data as easily as they normally would. Moreover, it protects your contacts, files and information. There are a few authenticator apps on Google Play. Google has one, Microsoft has one, and LastPass has one too. LastPass is also a great password manager for those who need something like this. Many apps, like Newton, include two-step authentication themselves. However, you should activate it as much as possible.
